Penny Godlington

Penny Godlington grew up in Boat of Garten and spent her childhood climbing trees, skiing on Cairngorm, sailing on Loch Morlich and playing in the woods and fields along the river. She never grew tired of looking at the amazing landscapes that surrounded her – the shifts in season and light. She went to Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen where she graduated with first class honours.

Now she paints those landscapes from her studio in the foothills of the Cairngorms, overlooking Loch Garten and the Abernethy Forest.
